Official Fees to Increase


On September 27, 2024, the Russian Patent and Trademark Office (Rospatent) announced amendments to the Regulation on the Official Fees.

The main changes are:

- increase of almost all official fees by 10-15% on average;
- the 30% discount for e-filing is cancelled;
- annuities for inventions and utility models have to be paid in bulk for 5 year periods (just like it is for designs).

The amendments are expected to be in effect from October 5, 2024.
