Digital services introduced


In a significant step towards streamlining its intellectual property infrastructure, the Qatar Trademark Office has officially embarked on a digital transformation initiative starting July 2025.

Key Changes:

1. The Official Gazette for Trademarks is now being issued in digital format.

2. The Trademark Office has also introduced electronic registration certificates.

3. During this transitional period, the Qatar Trademark Office will adopt a hybrid approach. Most of the trademark certificates will now be issued exclusively in electronic format, while, few certificates will continue to be issued in the traditional physical form until the electronic system is fully implemented. This mixed method ensures a smooth transition for trademark holders as the office tests and refines its new digital processes.
