Official Fees increased

The Algerian National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI) has increased official fees for trade mark and patent-related services, as published in the Official Gazette, Issue No. 88 of 31 December 2025.

The revised tariffs affect both new filings and ongoing portfolio maintenance, including renewals and certain post-registration procedures.

Trade mark filing fees are now set at 15,000 DZD (without a colour claim) or 16,000 DZD (with a colour claim).

Renewal fees have increased to 20,000 DZD (without a colour claim) and 25,000 DZD (with a colour claim). The fee for claiming trade mark priority is now 5,000 DZD.

Additional fees of 2,000 DZD per class (up to three classes) and 5,000 DZD (each additional class beyond the third) remain unchanged for both trade mark filings and renewals.

Patent filing fees have been revised to 15,000 DZD while the publication fees are set at 10,000 DZD. Patent annuity fees for certain periods have also increased, to 10,000 DZD (6th to 10th annuity – per annuity), 20,000 DZD (11th to 15th annuity – per annuity) and 50,000 DZD (16th to 20th annuity – per annuity).
